Covid-19 Vaccine Barriers To International Travel

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) report that foreign travelers are being stopped from boarding their flights and from entering their destined location because the world's nations are yet to agree on a common list of approved vaccines. The lack of agreement amongst nations on a universally approved vaccine list is a serious concern towards the restart of international travel.

The WTTC has advised countries to recognize all vaccines and vaccine batches to ensure global economic recovery. They also believe further actions need to be taken to reduce travel protocols for vaccinated travelers while still maintaining high-quality health and safety standards.
