I travel regularly for both work and for fun, and Pilot really helps me stay organised, ensures I don't miss anything and gives me a constant point of reference to come back to for the various details required both before and during travel. When I'm travelling with friends, being able to invite them into the trip and see all of the details that I would normally have to send to them in a god send! Apart from the practical side, the visual experience is very nice and adds a great touch to trip planning.

Love the new booking tool Was already using Pilot to organize my itinerary but just tried their hotel booking tool and it worked out great. The app has just gotten better over the past year and a half of using it.

Long time user and supporter of this app! I've been using Pilot Plans to plan and book my trips for almost two years and I LOVE it! Easy to use, everything is in one place and I can invite any trip mates to the app and they can plan along simultaneously. No endless text/email threads to comb through. Trip planning simplified. You also get to keep your past trips in your profile to refer back to, that has been extremely helpful to have.

Surprisingly amazing! I had not heard of Pilot before I had booked my stay. I was naturally worried about what to expect. I can only express my utmost satisfaction at every turn. My messages were replied to almost immediately. I was reassured along the way and communication via Pilot and the hotel was seamless. They are highly recommended and I would not hesitate to use Pilot again.

It's a great app. It has almost everything to organise a trip, travel itinerary etc. And surprisingly free. Only thing it lacks and is badly needed is Dark mode. I hope the development team include dark mode soon.

The Pilot Customer team is great. We had a minor issue with the hotel, and the Pilot team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of well.

First Pilot App Trip Used the Pilot app for a trip to Amsterdam and it was a great tool! We had our full itinerary with websites, tickets, hotel and air schedules. It was shareable so we could collaborate while planning. It's also printable in case of phone issues. The map function was great in planning to help us decide what to do each day and what area we would be in. Will definitely be using it again for future trips.

I can invite anybody and everybody who are going on the trip to help plan and add in the sights they want to see and no endless text chains or emails to search through to make sure everybody is on the same travel page.

Awesome app. I've used it for 2 international trips. It's perfect for keeping all my reservations (links and pdf's) in one spot. It is also simple to share with anyone (but be advised your companions will continue to ask "what's going today?" every single day because they are not good planners.) New features in April are good additions.

I love the app but since the most recent update I cannot scroll down in the app anymore so can't view my entire trip.

Very nicely laid out but with a couple notes. One, the iPhone style clock where you scroll for the time is awful, especially when taping out of the box closes the time box on this app. Switching to typing in time or a clock would be much better. Two, bookings and events should be listed top down chronologically, not by first added.

My thought going in was that Pilot would be like TripIt on steroids - that I could easily create a chronological itinerary by forwarding confirmation emails like TripIt, but that I could also search for and select activities and keep my own notes, and all of it would integrate. But, unfortunately it did not meet this expectation. It's not as good as TripIt in laying out the itinerary of bookings, and I found it extremely unintuitive and difficult to work in additional items and seamlessly integrate into the itinerary.

Amazing App. Really helps with engaging some of the travelers (kids in this case) with the overall itinerary and plan. I am using it for all the planning for a future trip to Paris.

I definitely like the potential it has but for now it still has a lot of tiny things that could work better (on the computer). On a phone the experience is rather bad (you can't change much without things going horribly wrong. There is also no way to see things on a map.).

Loving building a trip on this new app Enjoying this new app. Using it to build a custom trip for me and my family to Italy. Can select various cities, hotels, flights, activities, and even dining. This is the best trip building app out there. And while it's new it's really great to see the thought being put into its application and the designers are always looking for input. Try this app out for sure!

Great travel tool So helpful for trip planning. Thankful that it is free as well. Wish it had a mobile app, would consider paying for it.

App still needs work. There's no way to adjust the time for each activity. It just defaults to 8pm with no way to change it.

Great start and an good alternative to TripCase, especially since TripCase is shutting down. It's easier to add my trips here and follow the itinerary.

I came across Pilot Plans in a travel article and decided to check it out—so glad I did! It’s super easy to use, with a clean design that makes planning trips really straightforward. The mapping section is my favorite; it’s such a great way to see everything laid out. It’s been awesome for small trips and group planning. A calendar view for the itinerary and a group comments section for activities would make it even better, but I’m really happy with it so far and can’t wait to see what new features they add.

Love Pilot!! It has helped me plan and organise trip details very effectively. Used it for planning my last trip and fell in love with extraordinary features especially having map on one side while you're adding destination details. This made it easy for me to plan day to day itinerary along with the feature of exporting it as pdf. The ease with which you can access and share the doc with travel partners is truly amazing. I love traveling and anything which helps people like me to do it more efficiently is something that I'm gonna support, so here's my love for you guys!! I like this website. Since Inspirock has left, I was looking for something to replace that. What I liked about that website vs Pilot, is that you have a calendar that you can change to suit your travel plans. They even had travel time built in and opening and closing times of each place. I really wish Pilot had something like this. Or even if you could see some travel ideas on the website, that would be great. Other than this, I like this site and will keep using it.

Absolutely loved this as a collaborative travel planning tool (think Notion for planning your next trip)! While some features are clearly still under development (AI features, mobile app), the core products design and ease of use is amazing!!

What a fantastic find! Used this to plan a road trip for my husband and I. It's almost magical how it can auto populate locations after entering just a few characters. I’m the planner, my husband is fly by the seat of his pants. This kept us both on the same page. Headings can be customized any way you want. I had them by day, then any extras like restaurants to try. I appreciate the ability to export everything to a pdf, just in case we're without cell service. Otherwise, it’s easy enough to pull out on the fly to remind ourselves of an address or where we are headed next. I only wish we were headed on another trip sooner, so I could keep using this day to day! Already recommended this to friends and family.

I have tried to use a few trip planning apps and have not had great success, until I found PILOT! Very user friendly, clean looking and easy to read.

So far Pilot has been super easy and extremely helpful. I’ve been using it to put all our ideas and plans into a simple and legible format to share with fellow family travelers who are multiple timezones away. Can’t wait to see what’s next with Pilot!

Pilot has been really useful for planning my trip to Barcelona. I was able to invite my family to the trip so we could always be up to date with the itinerary, and I was able to print out everything really easily for the non-tech savvy people in the group. Definitely recommended for anyone planning a group trip!

Pilot is the best [collaborative trip booking and planning app] I found in developing our itinerary to travel this summer. Unlike others I found it very intuitive going through the set up and organizing our trip. With this companies direction to make it intuitive, I expect that they will continue to hone it keeping on the cutting edge in service of us travelers.

I am a solo traveller who likes to plan his intensive itineraries in exceptionally great detail. I tried many apps from Kayak, Tripit, to Wanderlog and others - and finally resorted to Apple Notes & iCloud plus Google Maps & Sheets for travel planning and keeping all my activities, notes, links, bookings, and tickets synched across devices. Pilot eventually is the solution I was always looking for. I have used it for two trips so far; planning on the web (super slick UI!), and then travelling with the iOS app. Worked like a charm. For me, Pilot is a true game changer, even in its early version as of May 2023.

Pilot has the foundation of a wonderful collaborative trip-planning app. I am using it for the first time to schedule a summer road trip. It's intuitive and it is so nice to be able to share details and ideas with my travel companion. I love travel planning (almost as much as the trip itself). This consolidates the information into easily accessible information for the whole group. And one more wonderful thing is that they actually contacted me to ask about how I'm using Pilot and whether I have any suggestions. I had a great conversation with one of the developers, who heard all of my suggestions. I really look forward to seeing how Pilot develops in the future. There is so much potential here!

Great tool for vacation planning. Very easy to use. Six of us are heading to the Scotish Highlands for 14 days and then on to London for 6 days. Two cars, 5 vacation homes, so many things to see and experience. Very happy to be able to share travelling plans with Pilot - collaborative trip booking and planning app.

So far I'm enjoying using Pilot to plan my summer anniversary trip. It's pretty user friendly. The only thing I'm struggling with is the fact that I can't add multiple links on one entry and that I can't categorize the "activities" to differentiate between things to do, restaurants, tours, and add details like the cost and confirmation number of each activity.

Pilot seems to be one of the best travel planning tools I’ve found, especially free variants.

I am loving using this trip planner for my 2.5 months in Europe! It keeps everything in the one place, and the map feature is super handy for seeing where everything is in a city. Also really useful for trip planning with friends - love the integrated chat feature and the voting feature for activities/attractions! Also good to keep your travel documents with your travel plans - you can link these together which is an awesome feature. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try, and can’t wait until the app is released!

Pilot is super easy to maneuver through. It is nice to have everything in one place. Pilot found my flights with no problem even on international flights. I am anxious for the app to be finalized and released as that is the only drawback as of right now. However, with that said, I have not had any issues with using the web interface. I cant give five stars only because of the lack of a Iphone app but will gladly give a high Four Star review now and follow up with a Five Star Review once the app is released if the app works as well as the program does.

This site is a great way to organize all your plans for upcoming trips! I love that I can keep all the info stored in one place and jot down ideas and notes when they pop up! I also use it to organize trips that I want to take in the future, but don't have any solid plans for yet, and then I can fill in the details as I solidify my plans.
