Who doesn’t want to go on a trip of a lifetime? I bet you do too. But do you know what the problem is for most people? Not having enough savings at the time.

Although there are many ways to find affordable flights or book reasonably-priced accommodations on websites like Airbnb or VRBO, it’s still a hefty price tag to pay for travel items all at once.

You keep making exciting plans, but they’re not always executed because life gets in the way. More often than not, when the traveling season is at its peak, your bank balance is not.

That’s where websites like Airfordable come in, which facilitate your travel experiences financially. It’s the perfect platform for you and your travel buddies who want to explore as many places as possible. So, keep marking your favorite destinations because I’ll give you a complete and honest Airfordable review.

Without further ado, let’s get into it.

What is Airfordable?

Airfordable is a payment platform for travel lovers that lets them go on expensive trips without paying for the flight payment at once. It allows travelers to book their tickets for a fraction of the total amount and pay for the rest later in installments before leaving for the trip.

Through Airfordable, users can book flights when the rates are low by paying a small amount of the total payment initially. The remaining fee needs to be paid in installments before departure.

This travel payment service is ideal for those who don’t have enough money to pay for their flight ticket in one go. Or those who like to pay for flights in small chunks.

Some Unique Features of Airfordable

Airfordable is a one-of-a-kind platform for travel enthusiasts with lots of useful features. Here are some of them:

  • Allows you to pay for flights in installments
  • Flexible payment schedules available (users can choose from 2, 3, or 4 installment options, based on their financial conditions)
  • Offers payment security
  • Your bank account details are encrypted and secure
  • No hidden charges or background checks for anyone who books their tickets with Airfordable
  • Your ticket is accessible as soon as you make the final installment
  • If anything goes south, you can cancel your flight anytime and apply for a refund according to the airline’s policies
  • 24/7 help center can answer your questions anytime through email or phone

What Airline Companies Does Airfordable Work With?

Airfordable works with most of the famous US airlines, including but not limited to JetBlue, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Southwest, and United Airlines. It’s only available for US residents, so most of the airlines it has partnered with are American.

You can book your ticket from all major airlines using their website. But suppose you are using the Airfordable app. In that case, you cannot book flights from airlines, including Air France, Allegiant Air, TAP Portugal, Southwest, KLM, Kenya Airways, and Delta.

Airfordable keeps adding and removing certain airlines from time to time. So, it’s best to contact their help center or check out their FAQ section to stay updated.

How to Book A Flight with Airforable?

Airfordable has a simple and user-friendly website that makes booking your flights easy and hassle-free. For all of you wondering how Airfordable work, here is how:

  • Find a Flight: Go to any travel website you use to book your tickets and find the flight that works best for you.
  • Take a screenshot: Once you find a flight, take a screenshot of all the flight details.
  • Make an account: Go to the Airfordable website and log in to your account. If you don’t have an account, take a few minutes to sign up for it.
  • Upload the screenshot: Go to the “book using a screenshot” option on the website and upload the snap you took of your flight details.
  • Browse through the payment plans: Airfordable shows you many installment options, from monthly to bi-weekly.
  • Make the deposit: After selecting the flight payment plan that suits your budget, make a 30% deposit to secure your flight.
  • Pay the installments: Based on your chosen payment plan, your flight will be automatically divided into installments. You can pay in up to 4 installments per booking.
  • Get the ticket: Airfordable books your flights directly from the airline. So once you pay all the installments, you get a confirmation email and an e-ticket for your flight.
  • Pack your bags: Taa-daa! Everything is done except for packing your bags and having the time of your life.

There’s more good news! Airfordable app is now available on App Store and Google Play.

Things You Will Like About Airfordable

More Than One Flight at A Time

The thing I love the most about Airfordable is that it lets you book more than just one flight at a time.

That’s right! You can get up to 5 bookings per account at a time and pay for them in installments simultaneously. So, if you’re trying to choose between relaxing on the beaches in Goa or taking a backpacking trip through Europe, don’t! Instead, do both because you can pay for both your flights in installments with Airfordable.

Mobile App Available

It sucks when your favorite website doesn’t have a mobile application, right? Well, great news! Airfordable has a user-friendly mobile app for both Apple and Android users.

You can schedule the long-awaited travels with your folks within minutes. Why bother with a computer when you can plan your next trip through your cell phone?

Trusted Platform

If you have any doubts about whether you should trust Airfordable for your flights, let them go. Airfordable is a verified travel payment platform with complete financial security.

The company has been featured on renowned digital platforms like Forbes, Yahoo, and TechCrunch for its authenticity. Your bank details and contact information are kept confidential with complete safety.

So, stop worrying about Airfordable and start worrying about where to go next. You won’t even need to “worry” about picking your next destination if you browse through this list of top affordable destinations to explore!

Fun and Easy to Use

The user interface of the Airfordable website is made just for you. It’s easy to use and has a vibrant and engaging design. It has everything a travel website should have.

Airfordable makes you feel like a part of the app’s community, from funky snaps and memorable photos to relevant travel stories. Apart from the fun, the booking process is self-explanatory and straightforward.

No Discrimination, Anyone Can Book!

According to Airfordable, you’re not defined by your credit score, which is impressive. Based on that motto, they don’t do a credit check for users on their website.

Anyone can book a flight using their website without worrying about the digits in their bank account. So, even if you’re strapped for cash right now, you can still plan a trip and pay for it later. How cool is that?

Things You Won’t Like About Airfordable

A Fee for Each Booking

You must pay a one-time service fee each time you book a flight using Airfordable. That’s on top of the 30% deposit you make for your booking. The amount of service fee varies from booking to booking.

Be sure to check the exact service fee figure when you pick your desired installment plan.

Few Options for Installments

It seems fun to imagine paying for your flights later on, but with Airfordable, it’s not that later. You have a maximum of 4 months to clear off your payment for the ticket.

There are a few options when it comes to payment plans. You can either pay in 2, 3, or 4 monthly installments, which is not a lot of options.

No Refund for the Service Fee

If you cancel your flight, you’ll get your money back according to the refund policy of the airline you chose. But the service fee you paid for your booking would not be refunded to you, no matter how much it was.

Airfordable has a one-time non-refundable service fee policy, so think hard before you cancel.

Limited Features on Mobile App

Airfordable has a mobile app that works on iOS and Android, but it has limited features. If you’re using the app, you cannot book your flights from some famous airlines, including Southwest and Delta.

So, if you’re buying a ticket from these airlines, you better open your laptop.

How to Cancel Your Flight

Nobody likes to call off the fun vacation they’ve been planning for months, but sometimes things get in the way, no matter what you do. If that happens to you too, here is how you cancel your flight through Airfordable:

  • Sign into your account
  • Open the “Bookings” page and choose the flight you need to cancel
  • Select the “Cancel Flight” option
  • Confirm your cancellation after agreeing to the applicable charges

It’s good to know that you also have the option to cancel with your airline directly as well!

If you cancel your booking within 24 hours, you get a full refund of the initial payment you made for your flight. However, if 24 hours have passed, Airfordable may charge a certain cancellation fee.

Be sure to contact their support team before you make any changes to your bookings.

Is Airfordable Worth It?

The answer to this question depends on how much you travel. If you travel once a year and have been planning for months for a single trip, then go for Airfordable because it’ll help you manage your finances better with its monthly installments.

However, suppose traveling is an all year round activity for you. In that case, Airfordable will only help you a little financially.

Let me explain this logic! For each booking, you have to pay a non-fundable fee to pay the total amount in installments. On top of that, there are cancellation charges as well. So, why spend money on all these fees for 3-4 monthly installments when you can book directly from the airline?

Our Rating: 4.0/5

Pros:

  • 5 Bookings at A Time
  • Easy to Navigate
  • iOS & Android App
  • Secure Payment
  • No Credit Check

Cons:

  • Only Available in the States
  • Booking Service Fee
  • Limited Installment Plans
  • Service Fee is Non-refundable
  • Unreliable Mobile App

Book Now, Pay Later

That’s it! Airfordable makes travel planning less stressful and expensive by offering easy payment plans. You can pay for your flights in installments after you book.
