⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice consolidation tool for travel plan, tickets, etc. Me and my daughter can share a travel plan, and add the whole itinerary, with pre-booked tickets, daily excursion plans, etc. It makes organisation of the trip incredibly easy and all information between travelers are shared
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went to Amsterdam for the first time. Loved having all the trip details located in one spot on my phone - maps, hotel, air, event tickets. I was able to to go the app and all the QR codes were right there. Also being able to share the app so we could each put in details was a great feature.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
His support was wonderful. Went extra mile to support us and getting us accommodated with the hotel. Really appreciate it. 5 stars service !!

It's a great app. It has almost everything to organise a trip, travel itinerary etc. And surprisingly free. Only thing it lacks and is badly needed is Dark mode. I hope the development team include dark mode soon.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
How disappointed would you be if you could no longer use Pilot?: Very Disappointed. What is the main benefit you get from Pilot?: memory making and planning

The Pilot Customer team is great. We had a minor issue with the hotel, and the Pilot team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I travel regularly for both work and for fun, and Pilot really helps me stay organised, ensures I don't miss anything and gives me a constant point of reference to come back to for the various details required both before and during travel. When I'm travelling with friends, being able to invite them into the trip and see all of the details that I would normally have to send to them in a god send! Apart from the practical side, the visual experience is very nice and adds a great touch to trip planning.

Common questions about Pilot vs. Tripsy

What is Tripsy?

Tripsy is an Apple-only trip planner app for organizing an itinerary on iPhone and iPad. It helps you plan, but you book your stays on other sites and some features sit behind a paid plan.

What is Pilot?

Pilot is a trip booking and planning app: a flexible itinerary, a map, notes, and your group in one place. Where Tripsy organizes a trip you book elsewhere, Pilot keeps planning free and books your hotel at private rates straight from hotels.

Is Tripsy legit?

Yes, Tripsy is a legitimate Apple-native itinerary app founded in 2018 and rated around 4.7 on the App Store, though it is Apple-only and does not book hotels. Pilot is a free, cross-platform alternative that also books your stay at private hotel rates.

Is Tripsy free?

Tripsy is freemium: several features sit behind Tripsy Pro, around 9.99 dollars a month or 299 dollars for lifetime access. Pilot is completely free with no Pro tier, because it earns from hotels when you book rather than charging you to plan.

How does Tripsy work?

You build an itinerary, see stops on a map, store documents, and forward confirmation emails that Tripsy parses, with Apple Watch and widget touches. Pilot plans the same way with AI, then adds in-app hotel booking so plan and stay stay together.

Can you book hotels in Tripsy?

No, Tripsy lets you add a stay to your itinerary but does not book it, so you book elsewhere and bring the confirmation back. Pilot books over 3,000,000 hotels in the app, at private rates straight from hotels, saved with your trip.

How does Tripsy make money?

Tripsy earns from its Pro subscription, around 9.99 dollars a month or 299 dollars for lifetime access. Pilot is free because it earns from hotels when you book through the app, so the whole planner stays free with no Pro tier to buy.

Is Tripsy worth it?

Tripsy works if everyone you travel with is on Apple devices and you will pay for Pro, but it is Apple-only and does not book hotels. Pilot gives you the same planning free on iOS, Android, and web, and books stays at private hotel rates.

Tripsy vs Pilot: which should I use?

Use Pilot for a free, flexible planner built for groups across iOS, Android, and web that also books stays at private hotel rates. Choose Tripsy if everyone is on Apple devices, you want its Apple integrations, and you will pay for Pro.

Plan your next trip with Pilot

Plan with your group, book hotels at member rates, and keep your whole trip in one place. Completely free.
