⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice consolidation tool for travel plan, tickets, etc. Me and my daughter can share a travel plan, and add the whole itinerary, with pre-booked tickets, daily excursion plans, etc. It makes organisation of the trip incredibly easy and all information between travelers are shared
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Went to Amsterdam for the first time. Loved having all the trip details located in one spot on my phone - maps, hotel, air, event tickets. I was able to to go the app and all the QR codes were right there. Also being able to share the app so we could each put in details was a great feature.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
His support was wonderful. Went extra mile to support us and getting us accommodated with the hotel. Really appreciate it. 5 stars service !!

It's a great app. It has almost everything to organise a trip, travel itinerary etc. And surprisingly free. Only thing it lacks and is badly needed is Dark mode. I hope the development team include dark mode soon.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
How disappointed would you be if you could no longer use Pilot?: Very Disappointed. What is the main benefit you get from Pilot?: memory making and planning

The Pilot Customer team is great. We had a minor issue with the hotel, and the Pilot team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I travel regularly for both work and for fun, and Pilot really helps me stay organised, ensures I don't miss anything and gives me a constant point of reference to come back to for the various details required both before and during travel. When I'm travelling with friends, being able to invite them into the trip and see all of the details that I would normally have to send to them in a god send! Apart from the practical side, the visual experience is very nice and adds a great touch to trip planning.

Common questions about Pilot vs. Travefy

What is Travefy?

Travefy is itinerary software built for travel advisors, who use it to build and send itineraries to their clients rather than to book their own stays.

What is Pilot?

Pilot is a free trip planning app: you build a flexible itinerary with a map and notes, then book your hotel at private rates straight from hotels. Where Travefy helps advisors send client itineraries, Pilot is a consumer planner that also books your stay.

Is Travefy legit?

Yes, Travefy is a real company founded in 2012, an itinerary builder for travel advisors, though it is paid-only and sits around 2.9 on Trustpilot. For planning your own trip, Pilot is a free alternative that also books your stay at private member rates.

Is Travefy free?

No, Travefy has no free tier; Core starts around 39 dollars a month billed annually, so even basic planning sits behind a paywall. Pilot is completely free, including the map, collaboration, and offline access, plus booking at private member rates.

How does Travefy work?

An advisor builds an itinerary, shares it through the Trip Plans app, and uses tools like proposals and invoicing, so the focus is the advisor, not you. Pilot works for the traveler: shape a flexible itinerary, plan with your group, and book at private rates.

How does Travefy make money?

Travefy earns from subscriptions paid by advisors and agencies, with no free tier, so the planning itself is the paid product. Pilot is free because it earns from hotels when you book rather than charging you to plan, which keeps the whole planner free.

Can you book hotels in Travefy?

Not really; Travefy is advisor software, so an advisor can add hotels to a client itinerary, but Travefy itself has no booking engine. Pilot lets you book over 3,000,000 hotels at private rates straight from hotels, with no sponsored results, so plan and book together.

Is Travefy worth it?

For an advisor presenting client itineraries with proposals and invoices, Travefy is built for that B2B workflow, but for your own trip it is paid-only and harder to justify. Pilot gives a traveler flexible planning, a map, AI, and booking at private member rates, free.

Travefy vs Pilot: which should I use?

Use Pilot to plan your own trip free, with a map, AI drafting, group collaboration, and booking your stay at private member rates in one place. Travefy fits a travel advisor selling itineraries who wants its B2B proposals and invoicing and will pay the subscription.

Plan your next trip with Pilot

Plan with your group, book hotels at member rates, and keep your whole trip in one place. Completely free.
