Whether you're strolling along Sydney's world-renowned beaches, navigating the busy streets of New York, or exploring the lush jungles of Hawaii, travel costs can easily pile up. If your goal is to travel as much as you can next year, then you must make every penny count.

With tickets, unexpected fees, transport costs, and everything else in between, it can be hard to stick to a budget when traveling. If you're on the lookout for a stellar sightseeing pass at your next destination, you might want to consider GoCity.

GoCity Passes are known for their practicality and reasonable prices. They claim it's the best way to see more while spending less. But is that really the case? Let's uncover whether or not a GoCity Pass is really worth your money.

What is a GoCity Pass?

Covering the biggest and best attractions across 20 domestic and international destinations, GoCity boasts plenty of wallet-friendly advantages.

With pre-paid entry fees and discounted skip-the-line tickets available, having it all included in one pass can save not only money but also time. GoCity is the globe's biggest sightseeing pass business, but does that mean it's the best?

What are the different types of GoCity passes?

With three types of passes available, GoCity seems to offer something worthwhile for different types of travelers. Alongside All-Inclusive passes and Explorer passes, there's also a Build Your Own pass. But which one is the right one for you? Let's find out more.

All-Inclusive Go Passes

Available for practically every destination over a multi-day period, the All-Inclusive Go Pass looks like it's the best option if you're visiting for a week or two. These types of passes can offer up to 45% off the ticket prices and at least one admission to an attraction per day.

This is a great option for those who want to spend their vacation sightseeing and checking things off their list. The only downside is that you might feel pressured to see everything that's included and won't have much time for spontaneity.

Explorer Passes

Stretching over 30 days, the Explorer Pass is the ideal option for long-term holidaymakers. With discounts between 30% and 50% off ticket prices, you can score some serious savings on admission fees.

This is a flexible option that's best suited to travelers who want sightseeing mixed in with some unplanned adventures. With this GoCity sightseeing pass, you can strike the perfect balance between discovering new places and allowing yourself to follow your intuition and live in the moment.

Build Your Own Passes

This one is fairly straightforward. Pick your poison. Whether you want to live it up in Bangkok, hit the beach in Cancun, or explore the skyscrapers in Dubai, you can create your own GoCity pass.

It's simple. Choose from the best attractions in your destination and tailor everything to your needs, wants, and wishes. The more admissions you buy, the more money you save.

This is an ideal option for those travelers who are set on seeing specific attractions rather than the whole kit and caboodle. The only disadvantage is that the discount is not as high as with other passes.

How does a GoCity Pass work?

Want to know how it works? GoCity has made it clear and easy. Select your travel destination and check out what attractions are on offer. Before choosing the type of pass that's best suited to you, it's important to think about how much time you'll have and what types of attractions you'll want to see.

Then, download your GoCity pass to the app or your phone, or keep it old school and print it out. Having it printed out is a great way to avoid unwanted stress if you get caught without the internet or if the app fails. Lifesaver!

What destinations does GoCity cover?

GoCity is available in a variety of locations, including a large number of top-tier destinations. With over 20 different travel destinations on offer, things seem to be just one click away.

Whether you want to hop on a canal boat in Amsterdam, scale the sublime scenery in Barcelona, get cultured in Chicago, or live life large in Las Vegas, there's no doubt you'll be stumped with options.

Other highlights include GoCity passes to Los Angeles, Paris, London, Miami, Hong Kong, Orlando, Rome, New York, Singapore, Dublin, Bangkok, Boston, Cancun, Dubai, San Francisco, Seoul, Gothenburg, Vienna, Helsinki, Madrid, Stockholm, New Orleans, San Antonio, Philadelphia, and San Diego.

Is there a GoCity refund or cancellation policy?

Let's face it. Life is full of unexpected mishaps. If you change your mind, or something comes up, it's good to know you'll be covered. GoCity offers refunds for unused passes up to 90 days after purchase.

It's not possible to get a refund on an activated pass after you have visited any attraction in your travel destination and used the GoCity pass.

Is buying a GoCity Pass worth it?

If you're interested in having a fuss-free, all-inclusive type of vacation without the stress of having to rustle through bags to find tickets and book everything separately, then a GoCity pass could make things a lot easier.

With decent discounts on offer, topped by the convenience of having everything saved all in one place, GoCity is a convenient app that's ideal for long-term travelers who want to see all the big attractions.

That being said, if you're someone who prefers to travel off the grid and needs room for spontaneity, a GoCity pass might not be the best option.
