During peak travel seasons, airports can be one of the city's busiest and most crowded places. The long queue, frustrated passengers, burnt-out airport employees, and the continuous influx of people all make airports a very chaotic place.

The worst part? Airports are almost always your first impression of the destination. Even if you haven't started your vacation yet, your time at the airport can already ruin it. Don't let it happen to you, at least not in Curacao Airport.

This Curacao airport guide will help you save time, energy, and money while making your flight to Curacao stress-free. No more wandering around the airport feeling lost and wasting precious time you could be spending exploring new adventures.

Curaçao is a tropical island in the Caribbean full of amazing beaches, wildlife, and unique adventures. There are so many things to do in Curaçao, you're guaranteed to have a great time, and you will have a great time during the day. Still, Curacao's nightlife is also world-class, turning the entire island into a massive party at night.

Curacao Airport

The Curacao Aiport, also known as Hato International Aiport or Hato Airport, is a huge new airport that offers services from all kinds of airliners worldwide.

The airport code for Curacao is CUR. It can accommodate flights to Curacao from Europe, South America, North America, and the Caribbean region.

You can find direct flights to cities and states such as Miami from American Airlines, Newark from KLM and Arkefly, and Dusseldorf with Air Berlin.

It's also the only available airport on the island, making it the main airport in Curacao. One of its most distinctive features is its long runway, and in fact, it has one of the airports that have the longest runway in the Caribbean.

History fact: During the Second World War, Hato International Airport was the main airport used by the US Air Force to patrol against submarines. There were many flying units ready for battle and using the airfield.
